Lagi entry pasal party…

Well, here’s a lil’ note to share my experience in organizing the party.

And here’s my RULE NUMBER 1:

AVOID BUYING STUFFS FROM PARTY WORLD (mati lah aku kalau org party world baca).

I buy most of the party stuff from Toys r Us, and only if those things not available in toys r us, i will settle for Party World (PW). So far, the only thing i bought in Party World was the big Banner ” THE PARTY”S HERE”

Seriously, there is a huge different in price between the two shop. For instance..the plastic cover for kiddies’ table. It cost more than RM30 at PW but i only had to pay RM7.95 for it at Toys R Us. Unfortunately they didnt have Barney, so i settled for Winnie the Pooh.

The triangle flag bunting was also puluh2 kt PW but managed to buy it for RM4.95 at Toys R Us…and all the party loot pack all bought from Toys R Us. Party Loot Bag in PW was also puluh2 for pack of 5 but i managed to get it for RM3.95 for pack of six kt Toys R us. Oh didn’t i save a lot!

And the candle of the number 1 and two shape. I bought it at Tesco. It was only RM0.95 whereas party world charge RM3.90

And for the balloons, PW range of balloons cheapest would be RM 5.20 for the loose balloon with helium hokay!!! OR alternatively they suggested that i rent their helium tank for RM100 (and deposit RM150)…and their balloon cheapest range was RM1.20. Since i really dont have time to blew up the balloon myself, we let go the idea of renting the helium tank. i was afraid kang baru isi 2 balloon…bebudak pun dh letupkn 2 balloon.

So ordered our balloon from partyshop.com.my. Each loose helium balloon cost RM2.50. if u purchased more than 100 it would be RM2.40. Free delivery for more than 150 balloons or RM30 would be charge for delivery (charges differs according to location)

The kiddies’ table also from partyshop.com.my. It was RM11 for a set of table with 3 chairs (and RM12 if it comes with tablecloth – they ran out of it, hence the plastic tablecloth) 

Okay enuff of the decorations i think.

FOOD. As u can see i provided food for both, kids and adults. Cume I forgotten to place the Fried Rice at Kiddies Zone too, it wasnt spicy coz it was meant for kiddies too.And i tried as much as possible avoiding junk food. The only unhealthy food i think was the mini sausage…takpe lah kn sekali sekala kasi chance budak makan and of coz the jelly and marshmallow…hihi. I also served the yogurt incase ade kids yg blum start makan real solid food. But of coz it was meant for toddler too =).

Adults food lak…my mom and En Suami’s choice.

Games?

Well, at this age i dont think it would be a success if i were to do those musical chair games and all….so i decided not to have it but just let the kids play. My motto that i had in my mind was “Lets get the kids to run wild in the garden” and i think i pretty much succeed in doing that. Didn’t i? Well I hope so.

And it was also imporantant to have things to keep the kids occupied in the hse..so when it gets too hot outside, they can play inside.

Yes, alhamdulillah…my kids are blessed with lots of toys to keep everyone occupied. Those yg nk have toys for their party…alternatively u can rent it at www.playlend.com

Waterballoon? tat was to keep the fun going and also reduce the heat..hihi. Wanted to have splash2 session but came to know not all parents brought extra clothing. My fault for not reminding the guests coz i assume they all hv extra clothing coz i always  bring xtra set of clothing in my diaper bag.

oh, map to the venue is also important coz u might be to busy to attend to the phone to giv direction during the party. (emilda, lucky thing mase u call tu kebetulan the phone was in my hand..if not kesian u sesat)

Things i should hv done:

• Get an official photographer (but like i said previously, i had 4 days to get things done, i was concentrating on food n decos – infact camera sendiri pun mlm tu baru kelam kabut teringat nk charge!)
• inform parents to bring xtra clothing
• forgotten to place the disposable bib at kiddies’ zone
• supply more waterbomb
• signage for changing diaper / breastfeeding room pun lupe nk put up 

-hmm…am i missing out anything? kalau ade sila bgtau…so i can take note
