This was the conversation I had with hArith yesterday:
hArith cam running to me and said
hArith: mOmmy! kau lembu!!!
mOmmy: ape??
hArith: kau lembu, mommy.
mOmmy: huh? sape lembu?
hArith: kau tu lembu!!!
mOmmy: whatt?!
hArith showed me the book and repeated: Cow tu lembu
mOmmy: ohhh, Cow is Lembu.
All this while he knows ayam is chicken but i haven’t taught him the malay word for cow. My bro was around and taught him so…tu die excited came running to me screamin, mOmmy, “kau” tu lembu!!!
Gosh, my heart almost drop when heard my son call me lembu! haha
hahahhaha..lawak ok..i ingat anak2 u gaduh bile tgk tajuk..rupenye cow is lembu..huhuhu

so far hArith can bi-lingual coz we introduce new vocab n speak english with him most of the time while the maid speak malay. so die pun tau nk different shade, if he have lunch with with us he will ask 4 chicken but ask for ayam with the maid. nak tido pun same, with us he says sleep but speak malay with the maid. at times i’m amaze how he can different shade two languages and knows that those 2 words bring the same meaning….oh if only i can speak arabic with him…hahah.
