–Reduce or avoid eating read meat. They contain saturated animal fat which elevates your cholesterol level. Instead choose chicken, fish, and turkey which are considered “lean” meats.
-Increase your fiber intake or use a fiber supplement. Studies have shown eating a diet high in fiber will not only reduce high cholesterol naturally, but will also decrease your risk for heart disease.
-Take Omega-3 supplements.
Using Omega-3 fatty acids has been shown to lower LDL. Take the amount of Omega-3 that your doctor recommends, typically between 1-4 grams (1000 to 4000 mg of EPA and DHA Omega-3 fatty acids per day.)
